Nayaswami Krishna Dewey has been a member of the Ananda Community in Nevada City, CA for many years. She holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Science in music education. Krishna played trumpet professionally and taught instrumental music grades primary – college for 15 years. In addition, she has been playing and singing devotional music since 1980. She currently teaches voice, harmonium and beginning guitar and is one of the directors for the Ananda Community choirs and ensembles in Nevada City, CA. Krishna also has experience as sound engineer, Ananda Yoga teacher and has directed fundraising efforts for major universities and non profits.
